He’ll discuss popular CSS design techniques like Sprites, image replacement, and Sliding Doors. And he’ll look at some of the best sites out there, how they were created and how you can learn from them.

As a special case study, Dave will show the live rebuild and coding of a CSS-based layout while you watch. He’ll go from Photoshop mockup to final production-ready code. Examining how it all comes together will highlight many of the problems faced during the coding process, and how you can arm yourself to face them head-on.
